What is WARDOGS?
WARDOGS is a 100-player tactical FPS by BULKHEAD (of Battalion 1944 fame), published by Team17. Three factions fight over a King-of-the-Hill control zone on a 256 km² map. Steam Early Access launched 10 September 2026 at $39.99.
How does the cash system work?
You start with $10,000 that persists across matches. Before every life you buy a loadout — weapons, ammo, armor, vehicles. Almost every teamplay action pays cash, and dying costs you what you brought. Cash is the game’s core economy and progression.
Which faction should I pick?
Lonestar (blue), Valkyra (red) and Manticore (green) currently play identically — factions are teams, not classes. Pick the team that needs players, or your favourite colour.
Is WARDOGS a battle royale or an extraction shooter?
No. BULKHEAD is explicit that WARDOGS is neither — it is a tactical all-out-warfare FPS with combined arms (vehicles, building, destruction) built around a single moving control zone.
