When does WARDOGS release?
WARDOGS releases into Steam Early Access on September 10, 2026, developer BULKHEAD and publisher Team17 have confirmed. Pre-ordering any edition granted guaranteed access to the closed beta that ran September 3–6, 2026, and the developers have also run open playtest sign-ups through the Steam page. If you are deciding whether to jump in at launch, the gameplay overview explains what those first matches actually look like.
How much does it cost?
Pricing is regionally variable, and the pattern matters more than any single number: Early Access is deliberately cheap, and the price rises at 1.0. Confirmed prices around the world:
| Region | Standard Edition | Supporter Edition |
|---|---|---|
| United States | $39.99 | $49.99 |
| China | ¥149 | ¥186 |
| Eurozone | €39.99 | — |
| United Kingdom | £36.99 | — |
| Brazil | R$119.99 | — |
| Mexico | Mex$454.99 | — |
| Latin America / Türkiye (low-price tier) | $24.99–$29.99 | — |
The Supporter Edition is simply the base game bundled with the Supporter Pack DLC — the pack’s extras are cosmetic or convenience items, not power. Details in the next section.
What is in the Supporter Edition?
For the roughly $10 premium, the Supporter Edition includes the base game plus a Supporter Pack containing weapon skins for three assault rifles — the A-91, Bushmaster M17S, and KH-2002 — and the MH-6 Littlebird helicopter. None of it confers stats; the guns themselves are available to every player through normal play, as the weapons list shows. Treat it as a “tip the developers” tier.
How long will Early Access last?
Early Access is expected to run one to two years, and the developers have been explicit that the current price is a discount: it goes up at full release. What launches on September 10 is already described as fully playable — the 100-player three-faction mode, multiple large maps with dynamic objective zones, the cash and XP progression, vehicles, logistics, building, and proximity voice chat.
During Early Access the roadmap adds more maps, weapons (including new weapon categories), vehicles — fighter jets are called out by name — new objective types, deeper progression, and what BULKHEAD calls a stronger seasonal meta game.
Can your PC run it?
Requirements are moderate for a 100-player game with vehicles and destruction. Minimum specs target 1080p Low at 60 fps with upscaling; recommended specs target 1440p Medium at 70+ fps native.
| Minimum | Recommended | |
|---|---|---|
| OS | Windows 10 | Windows 11 |
| CPU | Intel Core i5-8600 / AMD Ryzen 5 3500 | Intel Core i7-12700K / AMD Ryzen 7 5700X |
| RAM | 16 GB | 16 GB |
| GPU | NVIDIA GTX 1660 / AMD Radeon RX 590 | NVIDIA RTX 3070 / AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT |
| Storage | 50 GB | 50 GB |
Two practical notes: the game ships with kernel-level Easy Anti-Cheat, and the 50 GB install is worth clearing space for before launch day. For what to expect from your GPU, ultrawide monitors, and controllers, see the system requirements and performance settings page.
Which languages are supported?
Fourteen languages are supported at Early Access. English is the only one with full audio; the other thirteen cover interface and subtitles: Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese-Brazilian, Russian, Polish, Turkish, and Ukrainian.
Is it worth buying at Early Access?
If the core loop — persistent cash economy plus large-scale three-faction king-of-the-hill — sounds appealing, day one is the cheapest entry point the game will ever have, and the ~500,000-player beta interest suggests a healthy population. If you would rather wait, the beginner’s guide and the economy explainer will still be here when you land.
