FAQ

When did WARDOGS Season 2 go live?
October 15, 2026. The patch notes scheduled a maintenance window for 08:00–09:30 UTC that day; the launch post landed at 09:59 UTC confirming "We have now released Update 0.2.0. Servers are back online" — about half an hour after the window's scheduled end.
What is Update 0.2.0?
The version number of the Season 2 launch build — the first time the studio attached one to the season. Its content is everything itemized in the October 14 patch notes: four new weapons, the Molotov, four vehicles, three buildables, the rain preset, the calibre and economy rebalance, and doubled mid-track progression speed.
Does the launch post have its own patch notes?
No. It is a three-line notice — a release confirmation, a servers-back-online line, the launch trailer, and a link to the full notes. The itemized changelog lives in the October 14 patch-notes post, summarized on the Season 2 patch notes page.
Was anything missing when Season 2 went live?
The Wager Vendor — the one previewed item deliberately held back. The patch notes state it is not available at Season 2 launch and opens later in the season, with no date attached. The launch post adds no date either: its release confirmation carries no vendor and no new mechanics.

When did Season 2 go live?

Season 2 is live. After the October 14 patch notes scheduled a maintenance window for October 15, 2026, between 08:00 and 09:30 UTC, BULKHEAD confirmed the launch with a short “SEASON 02 IS NOW LIVE” post at 09:59 UTC — roughly half an hour after the window’s scheduled end. Its two load-bearing lines: “We have now released Update 0.2.0. Servers are back online.”

That is the whole event, in the studio’s own words: the update shipped, and the servers came back. The Season 2 patch notes page summarizes everything the update actually contains; this page is the launch notice itself.

What does the launch post say?

Almost nothing — deliberately. It is three sentences and a trailer: the release line quoted above, a link to the full patch notes, and the sign-off “See you on there servers” (sic — the studio’s own typo, kept for the record). No balance numbers, no feature list, no hotfix section. Everything mechanical about Season 2 lives in the October 14 notes; the launch post’s only news is the fact of release itself and, tucked into the first line, the build’s version number.

What is Update 0.2.0?

The Season 2 launch build. The patch notes had called the update “Season 2” without ever printing a version number; the launch post is the first place the studio attaches one: 0.2.0 — a step up from Update 0.1.2, the September 30 minor patch, in keeping with the season’s scale: four new weapons (TCX-SPR, PP-19 Bizon, Evo-3 Ultra, M14), the Molotov, four vehicles (the Wolf-110 pair, the T-72B3, the Flakpanzer Gepard), three buildables, a rain weather preset, a rebuilt suppression system, and mid-track progression roughly doubled in speed.

What didn’t make launch?

The Wager Vendor — the one previewed item deliberately held back. The patch notes state it twice in bold: not available at Season 2 launch, opening later in the season. The launch post changes nothing about that — its release confirmation carries no vendor, no date, and no new mechanics. If you came for the betting loop, the wait continues: the preview page has the itemized mechanics, and the Black Market page tracks the family it belongs to.

Where are the official notes?

On Steam: the “WARDOGS | SEASON 02 IS NOW LIVE” community announcement for app 1867240, published October 15, 2026 at 09:59 UTC. This page summarizes it; the official version remains the source of record. Every patch gets a page here as it ships — Season 1, Patch 0.11, Update 0.1.2, the Season 2 patch notes, and the hotfixes in between came before this one.
