FAQ

What is WARDOGS Patch 0.11?
A scheduled maintenance patch announced September 12, 2026 and deployed Monday, September 14 at 08:00 UTC after roughly an hour of server downtime. Its focus is the server browser and community-server discoverability, plus cash-exploit fixes, more GPU crash fixes, and increased Asian server capacity.
When is WARDOGS down for Patch 0.11?
Monday, September 14, 2026, for approximately one hour starting 08:00 UTC — 10:00 in Central Europe (CEST), 17:00 in Korea and Japan, 18:00 in eastern Australia. The announcement includes a full regional time table.
Does Patch 0.11 change weapons, prices, or XP?
No. No balance, economy, or progression changes are listed — the Season 1 tables (XP curve, vendor prices, unlock gates) remain the canonical numbers. Patch 0.11 is about servers, stability, and enforcement.
What is the community server cash bonus?
For one week after the patch, community servers pay a bonus 5% End of Match cash — the studio's apology for underserving community servers. The announcement's own advice: if you are looking to grind, jump in a community server.
Can you get banned for using cash exploits?
Yes. Abusing cash exploits earns a timed ban plus a reset of your cash and XP to zero; publishing exploit tutorials is treated as advertising cheats and earns a permanent ban; joining XP-farm servers for more than a few minutes also earns a permanent ban. Testing a bug once or twice is explicitly fine — repeated abuse is what gets flagged.

What is Patch 0.11?

Patch 0.11 is the game’s first scheduled post-launch patch, announced by BULKHEAD on September 12, 2026 and deployed during server maintenance on Monday, September 14 at 08:00 UTC. Where Hotfix #1 was an emergency crowd-control pass four hours after unlock, 0.11 is a planned update with one stated theme: “We are delivering a patch to improve our server browser experience.”

The announcement opens by thanking players for 400,000 peak concurrent users — up from the 337,157 launch-day peak — and with an unusually blunt admission about community servers: they “have been underserved,” the studio “have not put the same amount of care and passion into Community Servers that we have into the rest of the game,” and, in their own words, “We got this bit wrong.”

When does the maintenance start?

Servers went down on Monday, September 14, 2026, for approximately one hour, starting 08:00 UTC — 04:00 US Eastern, 10:00 Central European Summer Time, 17:00 in Korea and Japan, 18:00 AEST. The announcement carries a fourteen-region time table: one outage window, translated into every region’s local clock time.

What changes in the server browser?

The headline change is a split: the front end becomes two browsers — Community and Official — so community servers stop competing with official ones for visibility. The full change list from the announcement:

  • The front end splits into Community and Official browsers. The studio’s reasoning: a game with this many players “realistically should be using matchmaking,” and server browsers “aren’t massively fit for purpose” — but community admins and hosts shouldn’t suffer for that.
  • Official servers lose their filters. There are no official modified game modes, so filtering was removed from the Official browser entirely.
  • Community filtering gets more reliable, and a new text-based search lets you find community servers by name.
  • Community Server IDs now persist between matches and restarts. Each server gets its own unique ID players can join by — the number is longer than before, for security.
  • The quick bar gains a Show Empty/Full toggle.
  • The Host button now directs to the correct location.
  • Server naming is enforced: servers sort alphabetically regardless of special characters and numbers, and names may no longer contain more than one space in a row.

What is the community server cash bonus?

By way of apology, the patch ships with a limited-time economy perk: for the next week, community servers offer a bonus 5% End of Match cash bonus. The announcement’s own framing — “if you’re looking to grind, we suggest jumping in a community server.” For what that 5% rides on top of, the payout streams are documented in the money guide; for finding and joining one, the community servers guide covers the new browser, search, and join-by-ID.

Which features are coming next — but not in this patch?

The announcement also lists community-requested features that are in the pipeline but explicitly not part of Patch 0.11 (“These features are not yet ready”):

Upcoming feature
Community server favouriting
Tiered priority queues for Community servers
Message of the Day prompt
Improved Warmup Activities
AFK-kick disabling during server seeding
Team Switching Controls

What else does Patch 0.11 fix?

Three operational items round out the patch:

  • Various cash exploits have been fixed.
  • More GPU crashes addressed, continuing the crash-fix work from the Season 1 changelog.
  • Increased server capacity in Asia, with a commitment to “more focus into supporting Asia as an important part of the worldwide Wardogs playerbase.”

What is the new economy-abuse policy?

The announcement’s longest section is an enforcement framework for economy abuse, in three tiers:

  1. Abusing cash exploits and bugs — a timed ban (length scales with any previous bans), and your cash and XP are reset to zero.
  2. Creating content that tutorialises economy exploits and bugs — treated the same as advertising cheats: a permanent ban. The studio draws the line between promoting and alerting; reporting an issue is fine.
  3. XP farming — the most serious tier. The studio tracks every server you enter and “is very aware of which servers are XP farming servers.” Accounts that join one for more than a few minutes are permanently banned.

The stated leniency clause: finding and testing an exploit once or twice is “no biggy, thanks for helping us QA” — it is repeated abuse that gets flagged by their backend data. For money earned the legitimate way, the levers in the money guide are unchanged.

Does Patch 0.11 change any balance or prices?

No. No balance, economy, or progression values are listed in the announcement — every table in the Season 1 patch notes (XP curve, vendor prices, unlock gates) stands exactly as published. The only economy changes are the one-week 5% community bonus and the removal of the cash exploits themselves.

Where are the official notes?

On Steam: the “SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE & PATCH 0.11” community announcement for app 1867240, published September 12, 2026. This page summarizes it; the official version remains the source of record. Every patch gets a page here as it ships — Season 1 and Hotfix #1 came before this one.
